Sangram is a four day long sports extravaganza of IIT Roorkee, happening for the second time in the history of IIT Roorkee. The name speaks for itself ,its grandeur, its authenticity .Sangram literary means war between nations but we say, compete and fight for the coveted glory of your institute. It tickles and brings out the sporting spirit of the crème de la crème techies of India

Sangram will provide an ideal platform for all the brilliant sports persons from the technical institutes in India to assemble and exhibit their sports skill , exemplary devotion and latent organizational qualities . The level of toiled preparation and perseverance that goes into it inevitably makes it most awaited event among all the participating institutes .Beyond the justifiable capacity , this event represents yet another avenue conquerable by the best brains of the nation. The four day long sports meet is scheduled from 11th- 14th March featuring a multitude of events like Cricket , Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Athletics, Weight Lifting , Billiards, Snooker, Taekwondo and Racquet games attracting large scale of participation.
