Ms.Sanjukta Basa is the Chief Operating Volunteer of SANGRAM, a Master of Arts in Rural Development who spent more than two decades in Conservation and Protection of forest and wildlife, worked extensively on Women Empowerment and Sustainable Development as project head for different internationally acclaimed charity organisations, worked on Social Justice for tribal, tribal rights and culture which protect  forest and wildlife, worked extensively on creating massive awareness in and around Similipal biosphere for protection and conservation with active involvement of communities.

Honoured by numerous awards and accolades Ms.Basa has carved a niche as prestigious Honorary Wildlife Warden for Similipal Biosphere continuously from 2006 to 2016, appointed by Ministry of Forest and Environment Department,  Govt. of Odisha.

Further, Ms.Basa was appointed as a Member of the prestigious State Coordination Committee formed by Ministry of Environment and Forest NTCA, New Delhi, to monitor and redress the administrative issues and problems in Similipal.

A bachelor, her life is dedicated for conservation and protection of forest, wildlife and tribal communities, Ms. Basa lives in a Small sleepy tribal dominated habitation in the foot hill of Similipal named Bangriposi
